The museumOrth invites you to look  through the times of the market town Orth an der Donau!

The museum is located in the Castle of Orth , On the 2nd  floor with an area of about 700sqm. The basic idea for the museumORTH is to create an idea of the town and its community "Photo Album" for all generations and people that are interested.
The staging area pursues the principle of a visual information medium, as a three dimentional "photo magazine".

Also for children there is much to see.

In the north-west tower, new exhibitions are periodical shown.

 
Mag Hilde Fuchs, native  from Orth, developed the concept  for the new museumORTH. The Orth Museum Association, which has been responsible for many years for the museum, heavily involved in the growing of the new museum, with many volunteer hours worked in the creation of the new museum which will continue to operate.
